Terms of Service (TOS)
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of selected areas of this website as well as support contributions, sponsorship amounts, memberships, and related association-based services of the respective provider.
Information about the provider can be found in the imprint. Additional information about the processing of personal data can be found in the privacy policy. Information about technically necessary cookies can be found in the cookie policy.
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all support contributions, sponsorship amounts, memberships, and other association-based services offered, managed, or arranged through this website.
If additional notices, conditions, or special features are stated directly on the website for individual services, those shall take precedence for the respective individual case.
2. Provider and nature of the offer
The provider of the support options and services offered through this website is the association or operator identified in the imprint.
The content, support options, and functions provided through this website serve association-related, organizational, informational, or community-oriented purposes.
3. Registration and membership
Certain areas, content, or support options may require registration or membership. Registration as a member is generally free of charge unless stated otherwise in the respective offer.
There is no entitlement to admission as a member, to the provision of specific content, functions, or technical offers, or to their continued unchanged availability, unless the provider has expressly promised or accepted a specific service in an individual case.
Members are required to provide truthful information and to update relevant changes promptly in the member area or through the respective designated process.
4. Support contributions and sponsorship amounts
One-time or recurring support contributions may be made through this website in favor of the association's work, individual projects, events, content, or memberships.
The sponsorship amount, total amount, and any information displayed on the website regarding duration, interval, content, or service are decisive for the respective support process.
The presentation of support options on the website does not yet constitute a binding offer by the provider, but an invitation to submit a support contribution.
5. Formation of the support relationship
By submitting a support process, you make a binding offer to conclude the respective support relationship.
The support relationship comes into existence as soon as the provider accepts your support contribution. Acceptance may occur in particular through a confirmation on the website, a confirmation email, the provision of a support confirmation, the activation of access, or the performance of the service connected with the support contribution.
6. Payment processing
The payment methods displayed in the specific support process are available for support contributions.
If activated on the website, payment processing may be handled in whole or in part via external payment service providers. In that case, the information, amounts, intervals, and payment methods displayed during the payment step shall apply.
The provider does not owe the permanent availability of a specific payment method. Payment methods may be adjusted, expanded, or removed before introduction, during a development phase, or during ongoing operation.
7. Support confirmation
For successfully accepted support contributions, you will receive a support confirmation or a comparable association-related confirmation.
A support confirmation is not an invoice to members or supporters unless expressly stated otherwise in an individual case.
To preserve traceability, the support confirmation may be based on the historical information stored at the time of the support contribution.
8. Recurring and monthly memberships
If recurring or monthly memberships are offered on the website, they are considered recurring support contributions with the interval described in the respective offer.
Such memberships are automatically renewed for the next payment period unless they are terminated before the end of the current paid period and unless stated otherwise in the specific offer.
The specific details regarding amount, interval, start, renewal, and termination result from the respective support process and the related information on the website.
9. Withdrawal and special information for consumers
Support contributions are generally made as voluntary support for the association's work and individual projects. To the extent that a support contribution is made without a separate paid consideration, there is no statutory right of withdrawal.
If, in an individual case, a support contribution is connected with a membership, access to digital content, participation in an event, or another service that must be assessed separately, the statutory provisions and the conditions described in the respective offer shall apply.
A right of withdrawal for support contributions is excluded to the extent that there is no mandatory statutory right of withdrawal.
10. Termination of membership
Members may terminate their membership. If recurring or monthly memberships exist, termination generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise in the specific offer or required by mandatory statutory provisions.
After termination of membership, the active personal membership data will be anonymized without undue delay unless statutory retention, verification, or processing obligations prevent this.
Details regarding data processing, anonymization, and storage periods are governed by the privacy policy.
11. Use of the website and member area
Members as well as users undertake to use the website, their own account, and the member area only within the intended functions and in a lawful manner.
Access data, confirmation codes, and comparable security features must be treated confidentially and protected against unauthorized access by third parties.
In particular, abusive or automated access, circumvention of security mechanisms, use of third-party accounts without authorization, and unlawful or disruptive interference with the operation of the platform are prohibited.
12. Restriction, suspension, and further development
The provider is entitled to change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue functions, areas, content, or access to the website and platform at any time, in whole or in part.
The platform is subject to ongoing development. Functions may therefore be expanded, changed, merged, or discontinued.
13. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
The provider may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. For future support processes and future use, the version published on the website at the relevant time shall apply.
For support processes that have already been concluded and fully processed, the version applicable at the time of the respective conclusion shall generally apply, unless mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise.
14. Final provisions
Austrian law shall apply.
The place of jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law, is the provider's registered seat.
If individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions are or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
